We wouldn’t be able to do the work that we do without the time, commitment, support and fresh perspectives of our volunteers… So, we’ve started this section of our website to showcase some of the wonderful individuals that we have got to know better through our work. 

Our first volunteer is Peta-Ann Davies, who organized a very successful fundraiser for our therapeutic riding program on 28 February.   

Peta-Ann Davies has been riding at SEC since 2002. “I know Jill and Aileen work hard and I know they need funds to help the therapeutic riding program. So this was my way of helping out,” she says.  “SEC is my second home and I couldn’t have chosen anything better to raise funds for. The therapeutic riding program is really great. The kids seem so happy to be around horses.”

Peta-Ann clearly feels the same. She is off soon to Epsom Downs to get certified as a British Horse Society Assistant Instructor.

We are proud to have been a part of Peta-Ann’s journey and grateful for all her help and support through the years. Good luck Peta!
