It was Charnee’s 23rd birthday, and we were touched that she chose to spend her special day with us here at Healing with Horses. Everybody really entered into the spirit of things, the grooms did an exceptional job plaiting the horses she rode, and we discovered that they can sing Happy birthday very tunefully! Would rival any Spur… Even Eldorado and Paddington took part in the Birthday Celebration and did a flat out lap of honour, or six, around the school Charnee was riding in. Bridget was far more dignified, but I caught her mumbling Happy Birthday to Charnee through her substantial beard….
