Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, make new friends, and, most importantly, make a difference. Our therapeutic riding program would not be possible without the volunteers who give freely of their time and their personalities.

We are always looking for more ‘Sidewalkers’. Your job will be to walk beside the horse, guiding and helping the rider achieve the tasks set by the instructor. No prior experience with horses or people with disabilities is required. We will show you what to do once you arrive.
The schedule for sessions with the children from KGVI is as follows:
Wednesday 9:00 am
Thursday 2:00 pm
Plan to be here at least fifteen minutes before the session starts. Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers or boots.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it to some of these sessions. There are other ways that you can get involved. We have a number of activities and projects in the works that would benefit from your specific skill set, such as fundraising, marketing, accounts, event management etc.
