The smallest member of our herd, our skewbald mini Eldorado has a heart the size of a mountain, and he rules the stable yard with a kind firmness!

Eldorado does vital, indispensable work, serving children who have yet to learn how to feel the world around them. Emotionally, he reaches out to children who are hurting, wrapping them in his beautiful long mane and helping them forget the hurt. For children who have not yet learned to feel the textures of the world, he offers his soft coat to rub; before long, tentative fingertip touches become full palm touches, and an inevitable, wholehearted hug follows. No one can resist him. He follows the children with calmness and amiability, never taking offense at their anger or indifference, and before long, they are smiling and engaging with the world.
