Seismic was a broodmare and was donated to us by a very kind lady from Harare, Alex Sheppard. When Seismic arrived from Harare, she was in foal, so we delayed her training. Despite this, she always watched serenely and calmly over the kids and sessions.

Seismic had her foal out in the open, in a field with her friends. When the foal was just an hour and a half old, she accepted a visit from the Harvest Family kids. They all visited her and her foal in the paddock, loving the chance to see the newborn, and Seismic enjoyed showing off her baby. She allowed all of them to touch her foal, providing a great opportunity to discuss families and maternal love with children who had mostly been removed from their families due to abuse. Even from the very beginning, Seismic was there for the kids and adults.
